Short bio:
Cathy Rueter, a former bridal accessories designer, reporter, and newsletter editor, is now a Christian murder mystery author, speaker, and creative—stitching together stories with a dash of romance and a slash of death.
With Michigan roots and Texas shoots, she refers to herself (only half in jest) as a Texagander Gal, with her heart firmly planted in both states. If she’s not at her desk, you can probably find her with her nose in a book, hanging out with her family, or making a creative mess of some sort.
Her cozy mystery Christmas novelette, It’s Beginning to Look a Llama Like Christmas, was published with CLeaRly Creative Publishing in December 2024, and a prequel novelette, Scaring Miss Muffet Away, will be published in early 2025.
Contracted to Elk Lake Publishing, Inc., her first novel with them, Murder May I, is scheduled for publication May 2025.
